About the author

I was born in 1953 and I live in Bratislava, Slovakia. I am not focused on a special genre of a photography. I take snaps of everything that is impresing me.But these are mostly everyday life and situations with people in chief roles that attract me very much. In spite of the fact that photography takes everything two dimensional, with the camera in the hand the world as if gain further dimension. That time I percept the world by other eyes. Photography sounded to me at the beginning like a pleasant and rather easy game, but day by day I – am finding it as a hard trade.

To make a good snap, not only technically but also with attractive content and different from millions of others, is really very difficult. Although I have started with taking snaps at the age of 13 – therefore I experienced that beautiful „suffering“ in the dark chamber – and after several years of break I returned to this nice hobby – I feel that I am only „a student“ and that my best snaps are still waiting for me.

I started with Compact Olympus, continued with Minolta A200. Than I realised that only DSLR can satisfy my conception of photography and gradually I finished with Canon 40D, lens Tamron 17-50 F2,8, Canon 70-200 F4 IS USM.

I am currently (5.11.2020) shooting with the Canon 6D, Olympus OM-D M1 Mark III – lens Olympus 12-100 F4 and Sony RX100 Mark III. Lenses: Canon 70-200 F4 IS USM, Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM, Tamron 15-30 F2.8, Tamron 90 F2.8, macro,

Thank to all who devoted their time to this photogalery. I wil be very glad to any of your remarks, recomendations or expressing your feelings.
